What began as a vision to help veterans has grown into a comprehensive program serving individuals of all backgrounds — from at-risk youth to trauma survivors to families navigating crisis. Maria Long
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Maria Long is the visionary founder of EEF, bringing over 15 years of experience in equine assisted psychotherapy. A certified equine specialist and licensed therapist, Maria has dedicated her career to pioneering the use of horses in trauma recovery and PTSD treatment. Her work with veterans, at-risk youth, and trauma survivors has transformed hundreds of lives across New Jersey and beyond.
